Tesco Pet Insurance

So what can you expect from the UKs number one supermarket.  They sell you wills, divorce papers, flowers, shopping and everything else, so why not pet insurance i suppose?…

Tesco compete quite nicely on the insurance market in general, so it’s no surprise that they are quite popular for pet insurance too.  They offer quite a few incentives if you choose to get your pet insurance from them.  There appear to be two levels of cover available: standard and extra cover.  The extra cover pet insurance basically includes more cover for your money and no time limits on claiming; which can be pretty handy if you live a busy lifestyle.

Tesco pet insurance includes help to find emergency vets when you need one.  This really should be a priority on any pet insurance policy, and it’s something that is well worth looking out for whoever you choose to insure your pet.  They also offer support and advice for people who have suffered the loss of a pet; this can also often be overlooked because some insurance companies do not see it as a priority.

You can personalise your claim to a certain extent and add extra cover if you want to.  Your payments can be made by direct debit, or even your clubcard points!  There’s a different bonus from your shopping.  So essentially, if you’re a large family, you can get your pet insured for free with tesco if you use your points.
