Direct Line Pet Insurance

Direct Line is offering a pretty good deal on pet insurance at the moment.  If you do it now i think they are offering 12 months insurance for the price of 10…

So that’s a pretty good deal, but it’s only good if the rest of the pet insurance is up to it really isn’t it?  It’s no good just going for the cheapest offer if they don’t do what you need them to do; and that is to take care of you and your pet when something happens that could potentially bankrput you!

So Direct line pet insurance offers most of what all the other pet insurance companies do, except that they do boast about a few things more than others.  For example they claim to have all their call centres in the UK, which is pretty good for anyone who has tried desperately to speak to someone about a serious insurance claim and failed to be understood; this is very frustrating and disrespectful of the companies guilty of it simply because you pay a lot of money for your insurance.

They also claim to pay your vet directly which is always a good idea.  I don’t know about you but when i get a lump of cash in my hand, or even my bank account, i can be tempted to go out and spend it on something i shouldn’t rather than paying my bills.

And finally, there is another great feature attached to the Direct Line pet insurance, and that is their offer to pay up to £1000 towards kennel costs if you are hospitalised; this is well worth considering if you live alone and don’t know anyone who can take care of your pet.
